This year has been a challenging one for me in all aspects of my life. It was a good thing that God did not leave me to rot in one corner, or else I would have lost all my sanity. :)
As for my family, everything went well even though our home was terribly flooded when Ondoy lashed out its fury over Luzon. We had to clean up our abode and fix all our wooden wardobes and cabinets which were ruined by the waters which entered our house. We were so lucky because no one was harmed and all our belongings were safe. Dad and Mom were there to give me light during my darkest days. :)
University life for me has never been easy. As a Chemistry student, I have to deal with mentally perplexing problems in Analytical Chemistry (thanks, Dr. Binag!) and read IR, mass and NMR spectra in Organic Chemistry (c/o Dr. Nonato). The laboratory classes are much more enjoyable because we get to see up close the reactions of various chemicals and as well as synthesize drugs and other things we use everyday. Even though chemistry is properly labeled as the central science, we also have to wry all our brains out for Physics 1, 2, 3 and 4(hi Mr. Alfonso and Mr. See) and Differential and Integral Calculus (c/o Atty. Engr. Luz de Guzman). Being a chemist is never a job for those who are indolent and bird-brained; since chemistry is a dynamic science, we have to keep up with its pace and difficulty as we go along.I just hope that I survive the plunge and graduate in March 2012, no matter what it takes!
Socializing, in my opinion, has been in my cup of coffee lately. Ever since me and my Thomasian friends (and fellow budding chemists) started practising the cotillion for Christine Joyce’s debut, we enjoyed every minute of it and eventually ventured out to make new friends. Keiffer, Yuri, Allen, Kevin, Alexa, Ate Jen, Richelle, John, Rica, Johar, Joana, Jhoie, RR and his pals, Hazel, Connie, Jane, Kuya Neil, Ate Janna, Kuya CJ, Kuya Chris, Tito Jun, Tita Helen, Ate Myrna, Ate Gingging and many others have been part of my fun yet tiring Sunday rehearsals at the Philippine Columbian and at F.E de Castro Village. Thanks guys, I treasure you all. :) *hugs*

I miss you mga bhez! :) Do you still remember the times when we talked endlessly during breaktimes, hugged each other everytime we solved our dilemmas, ate like pigs during girls’ night outs, survived killer achievement examinations, poked fun at one another and teased one of us who had either a boyfriend, crush or suitor? Those sweetly choreographed moments will be indelible in my memory. You girls gave meaning to my 2 years at VEFMS. Thank you for loving me for who I am.
